Company Profile

StreetAuthority, LLC is a research-intensive financial publishing firm that aims to level the playing field for small investors by giving them access to the ideas and insights of some of the country's top investment researchers, analysts and writers. Although we specialize in income and international investment research, we publish a wide variety of newsletters that are geared towards helping EVERY kind of investor profit from today's volatile marketplace. Whether you're a risk-averse investor looking for above-average income or you're an aggressive trader looking to profit from today's fastest-growing companies, you'll find the information that you need here at StreetAuthority.

A NAME THAT YOU CAN TRUST…
In times of economic, political and market uncertainty like we face today, individual investors need professional guidance more than ever. More importantly, they need advice from a reputable information source that they can trust. StreetAuthority is exactly that kind of company for so many reasons. Here are just a few of the things that separate us from the competition:

Experience -- Our team of researchers, editors and journalists has over 100 years of combined experience in the equity and bond markets. We've seen every type of market imaginable over the past several decades, and we have the knowledge, experience and resources that it takes to earn above-average returns under any conditions.

Trust -- Since our founding in 2001, the StreetAuthority name has stood for integrity and trustworthiness. Our singular focus is on you -- our valued subscribers -- and we do everything we can to put your interests first.

Unique Investing Methodology -- Our writers and researchers specialize in uncovering investment ideas and opportunities that are often overlooked by more conventional Wall Street sources. When you subscribe to our newsletters, you'll immediately notice a major difference between our content and that which you might find somewhere else. You'll find a focus on investment concepts, methods and ideas geared toward making you money -- not a rehashing of widely available corporate news. More importantly, each and every one of our writers has a proprietary investing strategy and formula that makes his or her analysis both unique and profitable.

Proven Track Record -- When we say profitable, we mean it. We go out of our way to hire only the most qualified investment personalities on and off of Wall Street. What we're left with is an experienced team of researchers with a documented track record of tremendous success.

Unbiased Research -- Many financial publishers, brokerage firms and investment specialists accept advertising payments and promotional fees from the companies that they cover. Meanwhile, others are involved in a variety of business relationships with the publicly traded firms that they write about. Not StreetAuthority though! We pride ourselves on the quality and independence of our equity research, and we'd like to assure you that we are a 100% unbiased source of investing information. We never accept any compensation of any kind from the companies that we cover in our newsletters or on our web site.

Reasonable Prices -- Other print/online financial newsletter publishers sell similar investment services and products for thousands of dollars a year. By contrast, we keep our prices low so that individual small investors can gain access to our research and ideas.

Focus on YOU -- We take great pride in our relentless focus on our subscribers above all else. With this in mind, our staff has been barred from buying/selling any of our recommended stocks at least seven days before or after we add/remove them from our portfolios. By incorporating these and other similar policies into our way of doing business, we ensure that our subscribers' interests come first.

Still not convinced that StreetAuthority is one of the nation's leading financial publishers? Don't take our word for it! Click here to see what some of our over 100,000 loyal subscribers have to say about us.

A RESEARCH STAFF THAT WORKS FOR YOU…
We believe that individual investors will benefit if they are given access to the investing strategies and specific recommendations of the best minds on Wall Street. At StreetAuthority, we not only study and track some of the best-known players on Wall Street, but we also hire many of these investing experts to write our newsletters and to provide in-depth research that you can't find anywhere else.

About The Editors

Nick Lanyi | Paul Tracy | Carla Pasternak | Nathan Slaughter

Nick Lanyi has spent 17 years researching and analyzing money-making opportunities for three of the most widely read investment advisory services in history. At Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street, Nick spent the better part of a decade as a core member of Rukeyser's trusted research team, covering the entire investment waterfront. Earlier, Nick refined his touch at Fidelity Insight, a leading mutual-fund newsletter . . . and wrote for the venerable general-interest financial newsletter, Personal Finance.

But it was working with Louis Rukeyser that Nick blossomed into the authority he is today. Louis Rukeyser was the first person to bring Wall Street to Main Street, via his pioneering television show that drew 10 times the audience of the likes of CNBC. And his print advisory was by far the most popular investment newsletter in history. During his priceless apprenticeship, Nick steadily rose through the ranks to ultimately supervise all investment research for Rukeyser's newsletter. He personally analyzed hundreds of companies and spent years specifically focused on high-yielding stocks and bonds.

Using Rukeyser's priceless Rolodex, Nick established working relationships with the all-stars of Wall Street. He interviewed dozens of top money managers and analysts. And he developed the rare knack for translating their often-arcane statements into plain English that the rest of us can understand and act on. If anyone was destined to inherit Rukeyser's skill at isolating Wall Street's few proven producers from a sea of riff raff, it was Nick.

Over the years, Nick has had countless extensive private conversations with virtually every prominent portfolio manager you could think of, including Bill Miller (Legg Mason Value Trust), Ron Baron (Baron funds), Will Danoff (Fidelity Contrafund), Harry Lange (Fidelity Magellan), Tom Marsico (Marsico funds), Bill Nygren (Oakmark Select) and Brian Rogers (T. Rowe Price Equity Income), among others. He has also interviewed most of the top bond-fund managers, including the two giants of the past 20 years: Bill Gross (PIMCO) and Dan Fuss (Loomis Sayles). These men and women are arguably responsible for investing more money than any other two people on the planet.

Nick also spoke constantly (and still does) with a number of top Wall Street strategists, including Rich Bernstein (Merrill Lynch), Tobias Levkovich (Citigroup), Tom McManus (Bank of America) and Liz Ann Sonders (Charles Schwab). The pronouncements of these men and women move markets . . . and hearing them straight from the source gives Nick an invaluable investing edge.

Naturally, Nick has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Bloomberg and Forbes.com. He has also appeared on CNN/fn and CNBC. We're tickled pink to have an expert of Nick's caliber on board our "editors' circle" here at StreetAuthority.

Carla Pasternak draws on a variety of financial backgrounds to make profitable calls on income-generating stocks for her readers.

Carla has been employed in the investment industry for more than two decades. In addition to her work as a writer for several other nationally recognized financial publishers, her previous experience includes a position as President of a well-respected investor relations firm. She has also been writing shareholder reports for public companies (annual reports, speeches, corporate profiles, slide shows, etc.) since 1980.

A highly successful investment analyst, Carla specializes in high-yield, income-paying stocks. In that pursuit, she's always mindful to select companies that not only pay rich dividends, but that also have the potential to deliver strong long-term capital gains.

On the educational front, Carla holds both MBA and Ph.D. degrees. When she's not watching the market, she's teaching business courses at the college level and managing several million dollars in portfolio assets.

Nathan Slaughter has developed a long and successful track record over the years by investing in both exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and deeply discounted value securities. When it comes to ETFs, Nathan has created a proprietary ranking system that helps him zero in on today's most promising funds. And on the value front, Nathan uses advanced discounted cash flow techniques, along with a host of fundamental research, to uncover quality stocks that are trading well below their actual intrinsic value.

Nathan's previous experience includes a long tenure at AXA/Equitable Advisors, where he provided comprehensive investment advisory services to small businesses and high net-worth clients. He also honed his research skills at Morgan Keegan, where he performed asset allocation, retirement planning, and consultative portfolio management services.

Several years ago Nathan switched gears and decided to devote his time exclusively to financial analysis and writing. He has since published hundreds of articles for a variety of prominent online and print publications.

Nathan's educational background includes NASD Series 6, 7, 63, & 65 certifications, as well as a degree in Finance/Investment Management. He currently resides in Shreveport, LA with wife Julie and sons Aidan and Riley.

About Our Research Staff

Tanner Callais | Amy Calistri | Andy Obermueller | Brad Briggs

Tanner Callais is the managing editor at StreetAuthority. An avid student of the markets, he has seen his articles published on numerous financial websites, including Catablast, MarketAddicts, and Seeking Alpha. In addition, his research has taken him to distant nations like New Zealand to dig up the best investment opportunities in the world.

Tanner began his career with StreetAuthority in 2006. Since that time, he has continually advanced his knowledge and expertise of the markets by working directly with editors Paul Tracy, Nathan Slaughter, Carla Pasternak, and Nick Lanyi. As well, he has seen his role in the company grow quickly. Today, more than 200,000 subscribers see the end result of the efforts of Tanner (and others) each week. When not looking for new investments, he enjoys following college football during the fall.

Tanner holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Amy Calistri is an investment strategist and editor with StreetAuthority. Amy has a master's degree from the L.B.J. School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, specializing in international economic and industrial policy. She also has an undergraduate engineering degree from Columbia University. Prior to joining the company, Amy was a senior researcher with Applied Economics Consulting Group, providing economic and financial analysis in support of commercial litigation.

In addition to holding a Series 3 certification, Amy has authored and instructed investment education materials used by a number of the major investment houses. She is also a recognized authority on the changing international regulatory policies affecting the casino/gambling sector. Amy is published in the areas of economics, statistics, and her other risk vs. return hobby -- poker.

Andy Obermueller is a writer and researcher for StreetAuthority. His background is in financial journalism, and he has worked for some of the nation's largest newspapers. At the business desk of The Star-Ledger, his market acumen guided the financial news read by more than a million people each day. Later, his close contacts with West Texas business leaders helped him break the story on the plans for the first nuclear power plant to seek regulatory approval in the United States in more than a quarter-century. Andy is known for versatility: He's as comfortable scouring thousands of pages of SEC filings as he is sitting down with CEOs for a one-on-one chat.

After watching business from the outside for ten years, Obermueller got an inside look as a commercial lender with Wells Fargo's Business Banking Group, where he worked prior to joining StreetAuthority. He's fond of premium cigars, museums and spy movies.

Andy holds a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.

Brad Briggs is an editor and researcher at StreetAuthority. A graduate of Baylor University, Brad joined StreetAuthority in 2008 after a brief stint in the banking sector and at The Texas Observer. Brad previously served as an editor for his alma mater's newspaper, the Baylor Lariat.

Brad has experience researching and writing articles on topics ranging from technology to renewable energy research. He has received numerous individual and staff awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association and the Houston Press Club. When not tracking the markets, Brad also enjoys following politics and sports.
