Freelance Financial Writer

Position: Freelance writer for daily articles on StreetAuthority.com
Compensation: $75 per 500-700 word article. Increased compensation after initial training.
Location: Ability to work remotely from home office

StreetAuthority.com is a leading financial newsletter publisher specializing in stock market advisories. Our research and editorial staff provides independent, unbiased articles, commentaries and guidance on equities, ETFs, closed-end funds, preferred stocks, and other investment securities to a base of over 500,000 individual investors. We provide this guidance via our web site (www.StreetAuthority.com), via a series of fee-paid online newsletters and special reports, and via print newsletters that are mailed directly to subscribers.

We're looking for freelance financial writers to help us ramp up our daily content on StreetAuthority.com.

The type of article we're looking for will...

-- Feature a compelling topic not readily found on other financial websites

-- Have a strong narrative that not only brings the reader in, but draws them through the content

-- Adhere to our proprietary guidelines of article creation (in other words, we want writers who can learn and implement the features we desire in our articles -- not simply write the article how they want)

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will need to meet all of the following requirements...

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics and/or journalism (or related field)

• At least two years of previous experience at another financial publishing firm or other investment-related firm

• Intimate knowledge of how to research investment ideas and use fundamental analysis to find investment opportunities

• At least two years of experience in financial writing

• Strong writing skills, with an ability to convey your personality through written word

• Ability to write articles quickly and self-edit for grammar, punctuation and typos
